I sit here now, thinking of tomorrow,
The enemies I will kill that I do not hate.
Trapped in a dome of evilness
That will lead me down to Hell.
Bombs and guns, the sight of people dying.
I hope the war doesn't last for long.
When I go to war I will be worried about my family,
The fear of them knowing i might never come back.
I am full of happiness and despair
Although I will need to be courageous and brave
As i do my duty and fight for my country.
I hope the war doesn't last for long.
As i sit here, I think of pain and terrifying death
If I die then I want you to remember me as a caring; not hating person
The pain and hatred
Is causing my good memories to fade.
So if i die remember me,
Not as a soldier, but what i used to be.
I pray for it all to end today

Tree personification
Crying tears of leaves,
Waving her arms desperately
Pleading for company in the lonely night.
Her naked arms shiver in the winter
As she waits for Spring, her dressmaker, to come.
In spring the birds sing on her new, warm coat.
She sits in happy silence.
Waving her arms desperately
Pleading for company in the lonely night.
Her naked arms shiver in the winter
As she waits for Spring, her dressmaker, to come.
In spring the birds sing on her new, warm coat.
She sits in happy silence.
